Build A Soccer Squad Controls & Interface Guide
How to navigate Build A Soccer Squad on PC, mobile and console: menus, the shop, rolling packs, managing your squad, and setting your display card.
Build A Soccer Squad is a menu-driven collection game, not a fast-paced sports action title — so the “controls” are really about navigating the interface confidently. This guide explains how to move around every screen on PC, mobile and console, and how to use the key features quickly.
Platforms and input
As a Roblox experience, Build A Soccer Squad runs on PC, mobile and console, and your progress follows your Roblox account across them. The interface is designed to be tapped, so:
- Mobile/tablet: tap menus and buttons directly. The touch layout is the simplest way to play.
- PC: click with the mouse; everything that taps on mobile clicks on desktop.
- Console: use the on-screen cursor to select menus and confirm actions.
There are no complex keybinds to memorize because the game is about decisions, not reflexes.
The main screens
The shop
The shop is where you spend currency. It includes the daily shop (resets on a timer with free rewards and team offers) and the hourly shop of 100+ OVR Prime players. Learn to read it with the best packs tier list so you spend wisely.
The pack / roll screen
This is where you open packs (“roll”) to collect new cards. The Captains update added bulk rerolls and refreshes, so you can process many cards at once. Use them with the reroll and refresh guide.
The squad screen
Here you arrange your eleven, set positions, and manage links. This is where chemistry and secondary positions come into play — slot cards by nation and league to raise your rating, as explained in the chemistry guide.
Quests
Quests give you objectives that reward progress, and completing a quest for a player unlocks that player as a rare rolled variant. Check the quest menu regularly; it is a key income and collection source covered in the coins guide.
Setting your display card
A fun feature added in the Captains update lets you select a favorite card to display over your avatar’s head. To use it, open your collection, pick the card you want to show off, and set it as your favorite/display card. It is a great way to flaunt a captain or a Prime player.
Quick navigation tips
- Claim dailies first. Make the daily shop your first stop every session.
- Know your currency total. Glance at your balance before and after spending so you always know where you stand.
- Use bulk actions. They save time once you understand what you are rerolling.
- Check quests often. Easy objectives add up.
What about a match control scheme?
Right now there is no match-play control scheme because the game is collection-focused. The announced simulated 1v1 ranked mode is the next major update and may introduce new interactions. When it arrives, we will update this guide and post details in the updates hub.
