S tier — the cards that build top squads
At the absolute ceiling sit Limitbreaker cards — above normal OVR caps. The console patch added Beckham, Maldini, and Courtois as the newest S-tier chase names; the full ranking is on the Limitbreaker tier list.
Below that endgame chase, the most reliable earned spike is the 99 OVR captain. You do not pull this from packs — you earn it by completing an entire eligible 2026 squad. B tier — the glue cards
B-tier cards do not look impressive, but they earn their place. A mid-rated defender who shares the nation and league of your back line can add more squad score than a higher OVR card with no link. Value these whenever they tighten your chemistry.
C tier — reroll fuel
