What Special cards are

Special cards sit between standard pulls and the elite GB/SB tier. They share the same position and base stat structure as normal cards, but carry a rainbow or premium border that signals rarity.

• You are building toward collection milestones or Breakout sets.

• You are unsure — default to keep until you understand the card’s role.

Reroll the Special when:

• The OVR gap is 5+ points and the Special breaks your league core.
• You already own a better Special or GB/SB variant of the same player.
• The card is a duplicate with no chemistry benefit and no collection value.
