Build A Soccer Squad tracks your Best Team on a global leaderboard - the official Roblox description asks whether you can top the global leaderboard with your ultimate squad. The Cup Tournament update also added a Top 3 podium in the lobby. This guide explains both systems and how to climb.
What the leaderboard measures
The leaderboard ranks players by their Saved Best Team OVR - the highest overall rating your linked eleven can reach. It is not about how many cards you own; it is about how strong your best lineup is.
Factors that push your rank up:
- Individual card ratings in each position.
- Chemistry links between nation, league, and club - see the chemistry guide.
- 99 OVR captains and Premium Captains in key slots.
- Prime (100+ OVR), Cup (105+ OVR), and Limitbreaker cards at the top end.
The Top 3 podium
Added in the Cup Tournament update, the Top 3 podium in the lobby displays the three highest-rated squads on your current server. It is a live flex board - when someone builds a stronger team, the podium updates.
Use it as a benchmark: if the #1 squad is 102 OVR and you are at 95, you know exactly how much room you have to climb.
How to climb the leaderboard
Early game (below 93 OVR)
- Claim daily rewards and redeem codes (LIMITBREAKER, DOUBLE).
- Focus on one 2026 squad for your first captain.
- Build chemistry links instead of chasing random high cards.
- Target 93 OVR to unlock Cup Mode.
Mid game (93-100 OVR)
- Enter Cup Mode and win tournaments for coin income.
- Buy gaps from the daily shop and check the hourly Prime shop.
- Complete Breakout reward sets for Limitbreaker progress.

Endgame (100+ OVR)
- Stack Cup Player (105+ OVR) cards from five cup wins.
- Chase Limitbreaker cards above the normal ceiling.

Saved Best Team protection
After the Cup Player balance patch, Saved Best Teams keep their old OVR even when cards are nerfed. If you hit a personal best rating, save that lineup before the next patch so your leaderboard position is protected.
